I finished my little red squirrel last night. Her name is chestnut (because of her colouring). She is needle felted with a blend of soft merino and corriedale wools with wire inside her tiny toes and the centre of her beautiful fluffy tail so it can bend. She even has a felted acorn which she looks to be enjoying! She is quite small as you can see from the pic of me holding her but lots of detail and of course fit to be loved and full of character.. I so want to get some pictures of her in trees in the park but it is cold windy and raining out so an indoor setting will have to do for now. I hope you like her… I will be adding a tutorial this weekend of how to attach head and limbs with chestnut as my demo. 🙂
